Rasters Revealed open for booking!

On 21st Feb 2017 Geoger will be hosting the inaugural Rasters Revealed one-day meeting at Worcester College, Oxford. Registration, and a call for presentations are both open and can be found by going to the meeting webpage.

I’m very excited about this, and a tad nervous.

I’ve been wanting to attend a meeting that tries to draw together users of spatial raster data for a while, and not having found one that does exactly what I am looking for I have decided to put one on in Oxford. The idea is to draw together users of raster data from different application areas (e.g. climate science, hydrology, Earth observation, bathymetry etc) as well as those involved in managing, (pre-)processing and disseminating the vast datasets that can be created when collating and analysing raster data.

  • So, does any of this sound like the work you do?
  • Do you want to find out more?
  • Have you developed software that can help in some of these aspects?

Then please do register and come to Oxford and make this a meeting to remember.
